Robocode is a program that enables students to program their own battle tanks, and battle them against each other. It is a program developed at IBM alphaworks and will be the subject of a first year programming competition in NUI Maynooth. The idea is to enable the students to learn slightly more advanced programming concepts (such as event driven programming) in an environment that is both fun and educational.
