AICS 2001

The Program Committee invites submissions of papers detailing original research in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. In recent years papers have been presented in the areas of: Genetic Algorithms, Case-Based Reasoning, Intelligent Information Retrieval, Learning, Robotics, Planning and Scheduling, and Natural Language Processing. AICS 2001 will be held in parallel with the IMVIP (Irish Machine Vision and Image Processing) conference, thus we welcome submissions on Artificial Intelligence or Cognitive Science used in conjunction with Computer Vision (see also a 1-page printable CFP).

The Extended deadline for submission of camera ready copies is Friday 13th July, 2001.

Submission format

Submissions should comprise full papers of not more than ten A4 pages in length (5,000 words approx.) including figures, tables and references. Papers should be written in Times Roman 12pt at 1.5 line spacing with 2cm margins all round. Page numbers should not be included.

Electronic submission:
We strongly encourage submissions by e-mail as postscript attachments, sent to aics@cs.may.ie with subject heading`AICS2001 Submission'.

Hardcopy submission:
Hardcopy submissions should include three copies of the paper. Please provide an e-mail address as all communications regarding submissions will be by e-mail. Hard-copy submissions should be sent to the following address:
