AICS conferences have previously provided a forum for the presentation and discussion of original research in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science and related disciplines. In recent years papers have been presented in the areas of: Genetic Algorithms, Connectionist Models, Case-Based Reasoning, Information Retrieval, Learning, Robotics, Planning and Scheduling, Natural Language Processing and Cognitive Linguistics.
Maynooth is a University town located 17 miles west of
Dublin (Ireland). Its charming leafy campus has a rich 200 year-old tradition,
evolving from a religious seminary into a non-denominational university centre
of some 5,000 students. Maynooth is within commuting distance from Dublin, being
well serviced by public transport and motorway, and is only 25 miles from Dublin
Airport.
